Chicken and Rice

Wesley's first jar of food with meat...Chicken and Rice.

Breaststroke

Wesley loves to play in his bathtub. He will move his legs like he is trying to swim breaststroke…is this normal?

Breaking in the New House

Sheetrock is very fragile, especially when a foot, knee, and part of a thigh goes through it. I was minding my own business in the middle of a workday and my dad comes down the stairs and says, “don’t look in your bathroom.” Oh coarse, I looked, and then asked him if I could laugh.

This is what happens when you step off of plywood and into a foot of insulation masking the beams in the attic.

Pojo Pride

On September 20th Springtown hosted its annual Wild West Festival. Although it cannot be compared to the Great Frederick Fair, there was a fair share of locals, and we will leave it at that. We made it to the square just before the parade. This was Wesley’s first parade and he did very well. His favorite attraction was not the endless truck trailers of cheerleaders (I lost count after 11 or so groups passed), but the big red fire truck. He likes red. Overall it was a nice festival, but I still don’t understand why they don’t let the public taste the BBQ cook off entries.

Stacking Rings

No, I did not do this to Wesley. He does let me know when he gets a ring stuck on his arm or leg; rather, he lets the whole room know.

Wesley’s New Friend.

I love the striped onesie that Wesley is wearing, and I can’t believe that he fits into it. I have packed away all of his 0-3 month clothes, boy time flies. These pictures were taken on September 12th so Wesley is almost five and a half months old. He has discovered that if he is quick enough he can reach out and pet Kane dog. One time when we were sitting on the couch, Wesley reached out for Kane’s tail and was able to grab it as Kane was jumping off the couch. Luckily, I intervened before Kane or Wesley was hurt.

Wesley’s Crib, Literally

Wesley’s room is in the office, more specifically in the 10X10 turret that sticks out of the office. With all of the windows it is very bright in his room so we tried to cut out as much light as possible by making brown corduroy curtains. This blends the blue walls and Wesley’s jungle bedding together. Wesley is 6 months old!
