Help! Your Input is Requested

Help me choose my next animal to create!

So far I've made a turtle, lamb, bear, dinosaur, elephant, and horse. What should I make next? What animal do you think the general public would be interested in buying for a baby?

Everyone's input is welcome, friends, family, family of friends, people I haven't talked to in years, and strangers!

Cruise Purse - I made It!

My mom is going on a cruise in August! I am very excited for her. We went shopping this past weekend and she bought a Lilly Pulitzer dress! We are still working on finding matching shoes but found the perfect little purse! The only problem was it was in pieces via fabric leftovers in the craft room. So, friends and family, I have designed and made my first original purse! This one is completely my design and I'm very happy with the outcome. Mom picked out the button which was not in the original design, but buttons are very easy! An alternative is a magnetic closure snap.

The purse is lined with interfacing on both the outside and lining fabrics. It has a small inside pocket that fits credit cards, room keys, license, etc. The strap is just long enough to fit over the shoulder but is short enough to carry at arms length at your side without danger of the purse dragging. It is made from Michael Miller fabrics (which I love!) and Moda for the lining. And lastly, it passes my personal small purse test; a number 10 envelope fits inside!

Enjoy!

Remember - I do special orders!

Laptop Sleeve and Log Cabin Village

Today's sewing project, a laptop sleeve complete with appliquéd initials. Of which I made start to finish after visiting the Fort Worth Log Cabin Village Living Museum. Definitely worth the $3.50 admission.
