Pulling Up
Wesley started pulling himself up to a standing position just after Thanksgiving. Now, he hangs on with just one hand and does a good job of balancing himself. Pictures taken 12/2/2008.

Wesly's New Friend II
Last week Wesley learned the throw down game in which someone hands him a toy, he throws it, then someone picks it up and the throw down repeats. Video coming soon. Today, Wesley learned that he can throw a Puff to Kane dog and he will eat it and even lick it off Wesley's hand.

Happy Birthday Larry!
Larry’s birthday was on Friday, December 5th. My mom and I made him a chocolate cake. The cake was from a box, but my mom made 2 different kinds of icing. He has never tried fondant, and after watching too many episodes of Ace of Cakes, we thought it would be fun to try and add some fondant elements to the cake. I couldn’t find a squirrel cookie cutter, so I went with spades instead.

This one is for Leah. At least we did not put him in the box. He backed into it and fell inside.
The Fort Worth Zoo
The Saturday after Thanksgiving we took a trip to the Fort Worth Zoo with my parents, Bryce, Kaleb, Kylee, Grandma G, and Aunt Anne. Everyone had a great time looking at the animals. Some of the favorite animals were the giraffes, penguins, baby lions, and meerkats.
