Random updates

I decided to try and figure out why dad's camera doesn't take very good indoor shots and how to get that great portrait with the fuzzy background. After a few hours of research and a trip to the local camera shop we came to the conclusion that dad's camera just wont take the pictures I want it to take. So, I'm thinking about getting a new digital SLR with a 50mm f/1.8. If you know digital SLRs and have any comments please share!

Wesley, hold still so I can take a picture.

"how I love to drool on Little People"

If a customer asks, hey, can you add the Hebrew letters to Jacob on the back of the blocks what do you say? Sure! This was a long and involved process, but I learned a lot, and made a contact for a lady who sells Hebrew fonts and designs and was willing to check my work!!! By the way, those "vowels" of lines and dots had to be added manually.

What do you do when you are watching Kaleb and Kylee (and Welsey and Cassie) for three days before school starts? Separate them and give them something to do. Kylee made her first sewing project. She sewed all but one of the seams and picked out the fabrics! Which I seem to be the only person besides Kylee who loves it. She even wore it to church yesterday and was rocking it with pink capri leggings and a cute white top. So jealous! (side note, firefox says I spelled capri wrong but doesn't give a good substitute) Also, the hem looks crooked in the picture but it isn't. See first part of blog for new camera.

It's time to change my blog background, but I'm not sure what to do... I also updated my inspiration links with the places I visit most often.

I've also made a Dr. Seuss fish lovie and ruffle pants for Cassie, pictures to come soon, I hope.

Notice his hair is not wet!!!
The pictures are a little out of order. They did the diving board first then the slide.

So you might have already seen these on Facebook, but I wanted to post them here for archival purposes. Here is the last day of Swim lessons.
