Oh Holy Poop

One of Wesley's Christmas gifts was a potty chair, and tonight he had his first successful poo in the chair! Very exciting.

Sorry, no pictures.

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin carving.

Wesley helping cleaning out the pumpkin.

One of the pumpkins. This one took about 2 minutes to carve with a power tool.

Wesley's new "I'm mad" face. He does it on command.

Fetching a bean bag.

Costume Contest! Wesley's age group was for 0-5 years. They had to walk down the catwalk and judging was based on part costume and part attitude. Wesley was the first to go on stage. He walked to the end, did a little jump to stop himself and when prompted said "Ta Da" raising his arms. We work on Ta das every week at gym class. Grandma was a judge but excused herself from this age group. She said there was no contest, Wesley got first place hands down!

First Haircut

Before (at Sea World)

After...love his expression.

Labor Day Weekend in San Antonio

Nothing like a spontaneous trip to San Antonio! Friday night we decided to take a mini vacation and see the Alamo, River Walk, and Sea World.

Larry and Wesley at the Alamo. It was neat, but kinda disappointed in the lack of information on the battle. I guess we have been spoiled by Civil War Battlefields. But, it was free.

The first Saturday of the month just happens to be a special event. This is us with reenactors.

Waiting for a show

Waiting for a show

Budweiser Wagon.

Sea World was nice but the last time Larry and I where there was in the early 90s (separate trips). They have a water park and big roller coaster rides now both of which we did not do. There was just one fish tank and no hands on aquatic stuff for kids. The shows were nice but overall it was not Wesley friendly. He did surprisingly well at the shows and enjoyed watching the animals do tricks.
