Happy Birthday Marcus!

Marcus turned ONE on July 30th!  My little boy is SO big...but so small compared to other one year olds.  He looks like a little 8 month old bald baby walking, yes WALKING around.  He is on his two feet more often then crawling.

A few days later we visited the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.   It was new, clean, with a unique building design, and well funded; pretty much awesome, especially since our Fort Worth Museum of Science and History membership got us in for free!

In Memorandum, Daphne

Daphne Tequila 1/03 to 7/9/13.  We morn the sudden passing of Daphne on July 9th.  She developed sudden paralysis of the hind legs and was unable to recover.  She has been a part of our family for over 10 years beginning when we graduated from undergrad.  Throughout the years, she has followed us from residence to residence, shared in so many precious changes in our lives (Wesley, Cassie, & Marcus), and a part of so many wonderful memories, M&Ms, potty training with Mary outside for hours, Kane joining the family, the chocolate truffle incident, etc.  Now our house is a little more quiet and Kane is a little more reserved (believe it or not).  You are missed and you will always be remembered.

Rainbow Kids End of Year Program

This was Wesley's last year at Rainbow Kids since he will be starting Kindergarten this fall!  Luckily, we won't miss the next four years of Rainbow Kid's Christmas and End of Year Programs as Cassie and then Marcus will join.  This year's theme was Dr. Seussical...and here are the videos:
