Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all our friends and family! 

Wesley had an Easter party at preschool with a small egg hunt.  We colored eggs on Saturday at Bryce and Carmen's and Carmen's friend Leah and her three girls were there.  Sunday morning we attended Grace Fellowship Church's egg hunt and service.  All of the inside seats and balcony seats were taken, so they had to set up chairs in the large lobby area (30-40 chairs) so people could watch the service on the large screens.   We had one extra person in our row in the balcony, so I gave up my seat, since Cassie was being fussy at drop off.  We hung out in the mother's room and watched the service on a tv in a big comfy chair.  Cassie fell asleep;  church time is during her morning nap time.  Then we came home and the Easter bunny hid more eggs and the kid's baskets around the living room.  Bryce and family will be joining us for dinner.  Yum!

Cassie has been eying up this Minnie Mouse at the store. She loves Minnie.  Grandma made her Easter dress!

Happy Birthday Wesley

Monday was Wesley's Birthday.  We started off celebrating on Saturday night by going to the Fort Worth Children's and Science Museum members only Grossology party.   It was really cool and gross!   There was a pimple rock wall, a fart vibration machine, a giant nose to shoot pollen at that sneezes back, and a mound of poo.  On Monday, we celebrated with a yummy buffalo stripe dinner and monster truck cake.

Sonogram Appointment

Yesterday, I had a sonogram appointment.  Baby is healthy and measuring at 20 weeks, right where he/she should be.

I edited the video to show the highlights.  The first part shows the legs and gives you ample time to guess boy or girl.  Then the gender is revealed as the technician types out boy or girl. Sorry that the video is kind of blurry after editing and shrinking to fit online.   After some more movement, the baby sticks his/her tongue out right around 2 minutes 28 seconds.  Try and see if you can make it out. 

Cassie is Officially Walking

Cassie has been taking steps for about 2 months, but just recently she has decided to stop crawling and walk instead!

The Sand Box

The temperature was supposed to hit 80 degrees today.  I don't know if we made it, but it was hot in the sweat shop.  So much for a snowy winter.  At least we got a little bit of snow on Larry's Birthday. 

Anyway, today was Cassie's first sandbox adventure.  She was hesitant at first but eventually started to play.  At least she did not move off of her tea towel and her diaper was not full of sand.
